Makerere University has recieved a grant from the Rockefellor Foundation to support the implementation of the project, “Strengthening East African Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation Capacity through Training, Research and Policy Interventions.”
On the 14th of June 2010 the Faculty of Agriculture was honored by the
visit of the Makerere University Management team. The visitors included
the Vice Chancellor, The Deputy Vice Chancellors,
Tissue culture is a means of in vitro micropropagation that allows rapid multiplication of plants in a relatively small space under environmentally controlled and aseptic conditions. Millions of plants can be produced at any given time using this technology that has no parallel in any of the traditional propagation methodologies.
